Anandpur: In a shocking incident a youth was burnt to death as his house located at Sadha Chhak under Soso police limits in Keonjhar district last night.
The deceased has been identified as Sukadev Munda of Mundasahi village.
Munda who worked at Anandpur Tehsil office and lived in his house located near Sadha Chhak was asleep inside a room when the sparks erupted. Till the victim came to know about the blaze and woke up the fire had completely engulfed the house. He was charred to death within minutes.
Fire officials rushed to the spot later and doused the flames to recovered the victim dead.
Police have lodged a case of unnatural death in connection with the case and started investigation.
