Puri: With the general election round the corner, internationally acclaimed sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik along with his students created a magnificent sand art at the sea beach here on Sunday to create awareness among the voters to vote for a better India.
The sand art, where five tons of sand was used, has been created with a theme – ‘Your vote, Your Voice and Vote.’
Speaking about the aim of the sand creation, Sudarsan said, “We have created the sand sculpture to create awareness among the voters. All those who are eligible should cast their votes. We war extremely happy and proud that honourable Governor of Odisha Shri Ganeshi Lal visited the sand art and hailed our effort to spread awareness among the voters.”
Hundreds of people also visited and took photos and selfies at the spot. Besides, they appreciated the sand artist’s move to spread awareness about voting.
