Bhubaneswar: Tension prevailed in Saliasahi area in the city yesterday after dead body of a married woman was found hanging from the ceiling at her house.
The deceased has been identified as Banita Sahu (27).
While it is still not clear whether the victim had committed suicide or not, her neighbours suspected that she might have committed suicide. They informed, Banita who lived in a rented house in the slum was indulged in a heated argument with her husband in the morning and locked herself in a room after he left for office. Her body was found hanging a few hours later.
Nayapalli Police rushed to the spot and seized the body for autopsy.
An investigation is underway in the case.
