Bargarh: The Wildlife Cell of state Crime Branch, along with the Wildlife Crime Control Bureau, New Delhi, seized wildlife body parts in Bargarh town on Monday.
Special DG (Crime Branch) BK Sharma informed about the seizure on his twitter handle.
Sharma said that the contraband wildlife products like ivory, pangolin scales and bear nails were seized from three accused who have been arrested.
The seized products are covered under Schedule 1 of Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, he added.
A case has been registered against the trio, of whom two are from Chhattisgarh. The third one is a local, who came to Bargarh reportedly for selling the products.
