Bhubaneswar: A veteran hunter, surprisingly without palms was arrested by the Chandaka Forest Division wildlife sleuths yesterday night.
Acting on a tip off, forest officials conducted a raid on the forest near Jagannath Prasad at around 11 PM yesterday and arrested Bishnu Chndra Pradhan. However, two of his associates managed to flee from the spot.
Amazingly, this nabbed hunter has no palms. A country-made rifle loaded with ammunition has also been seized from his possession.
As per Chandaka Forest Division, Pradhan will be forwarded to court by this evening.
