Jharsugda: The father and mother of Kalpana, killed by former MLA Anup Sai appeared before Chakradharnagar Police in Chhattisgarh in connection with the four-year-old double murder case today.
During the interrogation Rudraksh, Kalpana’s father said he is clueless about Anup’s involvement in the killing of his daughter. He informed that the family had no contact with Kalpana since 2015. Whenever they tried to contact her she refused to provide any details about her whereabouts.
Informing on the progress of the investigation, police said that the weapon of crime and the ‘Bolero’ are yet to be traced by them. Lack of eye-witness in the case is also making things difficult for the Police.
Notably, two vehicles used in the case were the ‘Bolaro’ and an ‘Innova’. The Innova has already been seized by the Police.
