Rourkela: Two kids drowned while two more went missing in the Koel River near Rourkela, in northern Odisha today.
According to the reports, the four kids who have been identified as Rishi Sahu, Kunal Sahu, Ayush and Koushal of Jharkand had come to visit a friend’s house.
All of them went to take a bath in the Koel River close to Jhirpani Pump House at around 3 PM. However, they went missing after drowning in the river.
People who were present on the spot managed to rescue Rishi and Kunal and rushed them to Rourkela Government Hospital in a critical condition. Unfortunately, doctors pronounced them dead.
Till the filing of this report, Ayush and Koushal were yet to be traced.
