Twin City of Odisha registers 14 Covid positive cases

Bhubaneswar: Twin city of Odisha register 14 Covid-19 positive cases on March 6, 2022. Bhubaneswar registered 13 new Covid-19 cases today while Cuttack city (CMC area) recorded one positive case today.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), the 13 positive cases registered today were local contact cases.

With today’s development the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,348. The recovered cases are 1,54,841. The total deceased cases are 1191. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 295.

The only case registered in Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC area) was reported from institutional quarantine.

The total cases in CMC are 56,012 while the total recovered cases are 55,549. Total Active cases are 34 while total deaths are 429.

The recovered cases in BMC and CMC today are 20 and 1 respectively.

Odisha on Sunday reported 129 fresh cases of Covid including 39 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,85,889.

Reportedly, among the 129 positives, 75 patients are in quarantine, and 54 are the local contacts. There are as many as 1507 active cases in Odisha.
