Bhubaneswar: Twin city of Odisha register 10 Covid-19 positive cases on March 5, 2022. Bhubaneswar registered 8 new Covid-19 cases today while Cuttack city (CMC area) recorded two positive cases today.
According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), the 8 positive cases registered today were local contact cases.
With today’s development the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,335. The recovered cases are 1,54,821. The total deceased cases are 1191. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 302.
As in Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC area) out of 2 new cases, 1 was reported from home quarantine while other was a local contact case.
The total cases in CMC are 56,011 while the total recovered cases are 55,548. Total Active cases are 34 while total deaths are 429.
The recovered cases in BMC and CMC today are 18 and 1 respectively.
Odisha on Saturday reported 145 fresh cases of Covid including 37 in the 0-18 years, informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,85,760.
