Twin City Covid Update: Bhubaneswar reports 96 covid positive cases, Cuttack reports 8 cases

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reported 96 new covid positive cases on November 27. On the other hand, Cuttack city (CMC area) has reported 8 cases. Both the cities registered a fall in Covid cases as compared to yesterday.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 96 positive cases detected today, 8 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 88. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 8.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 21,082 while the total recovered cases are 1, 18,607. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1085.  Active cases in the city are 1369.

Out of the total 8 cases registered in CMC on Saturday, 02 cases are from home quarantine, 02 local contact cases and 04 institutional quarantine cases.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 45,178 while the recovered cases are 44,552. The active cases today are 535.

In the last 24 hours, Cuttack city has reported 13 recovered cases informed while in Bhubaneswar 105 recovered cases were registered.

A total of 264 Covid-19 positive cases including 41 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours.

Among the 264 positives, 154 are quarantine cases and 110 are local contacts.
