Twin City Covid 19 Update: Bhubaneswar reports 86 covid positive cases, Cuttack reports 9 cases

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has reported 86 new covid positive cases on November 28. On the other hand, Cuttack city (CMC area) has reported 9 cases.

According to reports by BMC, out of the total 86 positive cases detected today, 25 positive cases are quarantine cases while local contact cases are 61. The positive cases linked with earlier positive cases are 25.

The total cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 1, 21,168 while the total recovered cases are 1, 18,720. The total death cases recorded in the BMC is 1085.  Active cases in the city are 1342.

Out of the total 9 cases registered in CMC on Sunday, 04 cases are from home quarantine, 04 local contact cases and 01 institutional quarantine cases.

Total Covid-19 cases in Cuttack city are 45,187 while the recovered cases are 44,570. The active cases today are 526.

In the last 24 hours, Cuttack city has reported 18 recovered cases informed while in Bhubaneswar 113 recovered cases were registered.

A total of 191 Covid-19 positive cases including 33 in the 0-18 years age group have been detected positive in Odisha in the last 24 hours.

Among the 191 positives, 112 are quarantine cases and 79 are local contacts.
