Twin City Covid-19 Update: Bhubaneswar reports 4 positive cases while Cuttack reports 1 case today

Bhubaneswar: As on April 7, 2022 the Covid-19 cases in BMC and CMC continues to remain below 10. The capital city of Odisha has recorded 4 positive cases today. On the other hand, Cuttack reported 1 positive case.

According to reports by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 4 positive cases that were reported today were local contact cases.

With today’s development, the total Covid-19 positive cases have increased to 1,56,521. The recovered cases are 1,55,156. The total deceased cases are 1191. At present, the active Covid-19 cases in Bhubaneswar stand at 153. The recovered cases in BMC in the last 24 hours are 4.

A single Covid19 case was reported in the CMC area. The case was a local contact case.

Odisha on Thursday reported 28 new Covid cases including 3 in the 0-18 years and informed the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) Department. The positive tally stands at 12,87,801.

Reportedly, among the 28 positives, 17 patients are in quarantine, and 11 are local contacts. The active cases in Odisha currently stand at 208.

Khordha recorded the highest with seven positives followed by Sambalpur with four and three positives in Mayurbhanj.
