Berhampur: A truck rammed into a house at Lanjia village under Sadar police limits of Berhampur last late night and two persons sustained critical injuries.
Sources say, two trucks coming from opposite sides collided head on with each other following which a truck hits a auto and then crashes into a house at Lanjia village. The people living inside the house narrowly escaped. Following which the two drivers sustained critical injuries.
The villagers immediately rescued both of them and admitted them to MKCG Hospital in Berhampur.
On being informed about the accident, the Sadar police reached the spot and have started a probe into the matter.
On the other hand, the villagers blocked the road and demanded a compensation after the accident. The road blockade disrupted vehicular movement on Berhampur-Digapahandi main road.
