Tapaswini has ruined my life, Says husband Sumit

Berhampur: In today’s development regarding the much-hyped marital dispute of Tapaswini Dash and her husband Sumit Sahu, he has released an audio claiming that he is not absconding nor anyone has kidnapped him. Sumit has clearly mentioned that he is on leave after seeking proper approval.

“I have informed the Court regarding the problems I have been facing due to Tapaswini,” he said.

Sumit, in the audio, has also claimed that Tapaswini has ruined his life and she is doing this drama to gain publicity and public sympathy.

He further said that “I am mentally as well as physically unwell right now and it is impossible for me to take rest in Tapaswini’s presence.”

It is to be noted that, Tapaswini made a serious allegation saying that Sumeet absconded. According to her, Sumeet was living with her at a rented house following the advice of the Berhampur SDJM court and later absconded.

Tapaswini and Sumeet had reportedly legally married at a marriage registrar’s office a while ago. Later, their families allegedly decided to solemnize their marriage through customary Hindu rituals on November 22. However, when Dimple and her family were waiting for Sumeet and his kin at the wedding venue, the latter did not turn up. Even they did not allegedly respond to phone calls.

Tapaswini and her mother went to her in-laws’ house at Brahma Nagar in the Silk City and staged a demonstration demanding that she should be accepted and allowed by Sumeet and his family members to live with them as Sumeet’s wife.

After she was not allowed to stay at her in-law’s house, Tapaswini filed a petition over the matter at the SDJM court, which while conducting a hearing on December 2 advised the couple to live together for a week at a rented house in Aska without meeting anyone.
