Cuttack: The Sarpanch of Kanheipur panchayat under Tangi block in Cuttack district have imposed shutdown as a preventive measure of Covid-19.
The shutdown was imposed at the Kanheipur Panchayat from today at 12am till June 25 10pm after coronavirus positive cases were found at Kotisahi by the Sarpanch of the panchayat Sasmita Sahu .
Whereas, Sarpanch of Daringbadi Radhakanta Pradhan has also imposed shutdown in the village, after a teacher from Dudukibadi area was detected covid-19 positive.
The Sarpanch of the village have imposed shutdown till further notice keeping in view of the rise of Covid-19 cases in the village. Except medical shops, all shops and markets have been asked for closure.
The Sarpanch of the Panchayat and village using their power as collector has announced shutdown for the safety of the villagers.
