Puri: Baliapanda police on Saturday raided a hotel here in Odisha and busted a prostitution racket.
Three people including the hotel owner have been arrested in this connection.
The cops arrested three persons including the hotel owner in this connection. They also rescued five young girls from the clutches of the accused.
The accused have been identified as Sapan Dutt, the hotel owner, and two customers- one is from Nimapada area in Puri district and another from Ersama area in Jagatsinghpur district.
Police also seized some obscene material from the hotel rooms.
Sources said, Dutta took the hotel on lease and was operating prostitution in two rooms there, engaging girls from West Bengal origin.
