Cuttack: All Covid norms and protocols went for a complete toss in the annual Athletics Meet of Ravenshaw University situated in Cuttack district of Odisha.
The video of the incident has become viral. Thousands of students are seen violating Covid norms and dancing to the tunes of popular and trending songs.
Though the Vice-Chancellor, Professors, Police and administrative staff were present at at the spot, they seem to have forgotten all about the spread of Covid.
In the video, none of the students are seen wearing a mask nor following social distancing. This comes as a surprise at this time given the fact the Omicron is affecting people.
After Odisha reported four Covid Omicron positive cases, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had urged everyone to follow the Covid-19 protocols strictly.
