Rayagada: At a time when Corona pandemic is wrecking havoc in the state people of Rayagada got a reason to wear a smile. A seldom seen flower was witnessed in Rayagada town of Odisha.
As per reports, a rare flower has been witnessed in the garden of one Shiva Nayak, a pharmacist of the Health Department. Although a lot of people are interested to witness the rarely seen flower, they are not being allowed into the garden to maintain the social distancing norm, imposed by Odisha Govt to curb Coronavirus pandemic.
Although the rare flower has been identified as a china rose, locally called ‘Parijata’, no expert view has come in this regard. However, image of the flower is doing the rounds in social media.
It has been learnt that Nayak had brought a seedling from Haridwar few months back which he had planted in his garden. The flower has bloomed in that herb.

This flower looks like a Magnolia flower.
In Mayurbhanj district also same flower Parijata has been witnessed.
