Bhubaneswar: Rajya Sabha MP and eminent sculptor Raghunath Mahapatra has tested positive for COVID-19.
Mahapatra has been admitted at the city-based All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for treatment, said sources.

A special team of Specialists of the Hospital is treating Mahapatra and his health condition is said to be now stable, added the sources.
Covid cases continue to rise in the State as fresh 10521 positives including 5945 quarantine cases and 4576 local contacts have been reported today in Odisha. With this, the total positive cases in the State rose to 500162 which include 81585 active cases.
The death toll due to the virus also rose to 2121 which the death of 17 Covid patients today.
