Bhubaneswar: Odisha is likely to experience light to moderate rain and thunderstorm at a few places over various districts informed the MeT Department.

A yellow warning has been issued for various districts of Odisha across a span of five days.

4th May 2022: 

Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Koraput, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nuapada, Nawarangpur and Kalahandi.

5th May 2022: 

Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kendrapara Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati and Ganjam.

6th May 2022:  

Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul,
Dhenkanal, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Puri, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri,
Gajapati and Ganjam.

7th May 2022:   

Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj.

8th May 2022:
