Puri Srimandir Servitor Murder Case: 4 accused detained

Puri: In a development regarding the murder of the former member of Puri Jagannath temple managing committee, Krushna Chandra Pratihari, four accused have been detained by the police.

Reportedly, the Puri SP Kanwar Vishal Singh will brief regarding the details in a press meet today.

Notably, four teams of police were formed for the investigation. They carried out raids at several places to ascertain more details in relation to Pratihari’s murder.

During the post mortem procedure, two bullets were removed from Pratihari’s head. He was hit by bullets on his head from behind.

Pratihari was shot dead by some unidentified miscreants near the Barabati area on Wednesday. An eyewitness has stated that two miscreants came on a motorcycle and shot two rounds of bullets on Pratihari following which they fled from the spot. It is being suspected that Pratihari has been shot dead over some past enmity.
