Puri: Devotees pay obeisance at Lord Alarnath temple in Brahmagiri during Anasara of Lord Jagannath

Puri: The Anasara darshan of Lord Alarnath at His shrine in Brahmagiri of this district in Odisha began today. It will continue for coming 14 days.

As per belief, devotees get a glimpse of Lord Alarnath during this fourteen days of Anasara or Anabasara to garner the same amount of virtue of paying a visit to Lord Jagannath of Puri.

At the Alarnath temple while devotees have crowded from today morning all arrangements have been made by the administration keeping in view arrival of lakhs of devotees here.

It is to be noted that the darshan at Alarnath temple had been cancelled for the last two years in the wake of the pandemic backed by Covid 19.

After opening of the Lord Alarnath temple gate at 4 am today, all the morning rituals of the God was performed. And then the devotees were allowed for darshan.

It is believed that one can reap the same amount of virtue by paying obeisance at the Lord Alarnath temple during Anasara, as compared to any day’s darshan at Srimandira.
