Cuttack: With no respite in sight from the fear of psycho killer in Millenium City Cuttack, a woman was attacked by an unidentified person last night in Mala Sahi under Jobra area.
As per the report, the victim identified as Sandhya Tarai was busy sweeping the road passing in front of the entrance of her house when the attack took place. The attacker arrived at the spot and started thrashing her.
As the woman protested the attack the miscreant took out a knife and tried to slit her throat inflicting minor injury and fled away.
The victim raised an alarm and gathered locals to rescue her and send to hospital.
While the victim has been discharged from SCB Medical after treatment, police have started investigation to trace the attacker.
