Bhubaneswar: The Plus 2 students staged a protest at the Master Canteen Square in Bhubaneswar on Thursday demanding cancellation of board exams in view of the current Covid situation.
The students have alleged that their future is being played with by conducting the exam as the course curriculum has not been completed.
They have said that while the classes were being conducted online, why does the board exam has to be held in an offline mode and they want complete cancellation of board exams.
The students have also demanded that the Council of Higher Secondary Education and the State government should announce their Plus 2 board exam result as per the marks in the quarterly exam conducted by the respective colleges.
Recently, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said that exams will be held as per schedule if the current Covid situation prevails. He advised that, the Students should also remain prepared.
