Pipili by-election to be held on May 13, Counting of votes on May 16

Bhubaneswar: Fresh date for Pipili by-election has been announced. The Pipili by-polls will be held on May 13 and counting of votes to be held on May 16, informed the office of Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha.

According to CEO Sushil Kumar Lohani, Pipili constituency in Puri district will go to poll on May 13 and the counting of votes will be held on May 16. The results will also be known on the same day.

It is worthwhile to mention here that Pipili by-election was earlier slated to be held on April 17, however, it was postponed due to the untimely death of Congress candidate Ajit Mangaraj on April 14.
