Balangir: The Paralakhemundi Police team which visited Balangir as part of its investigation into ACF Saumya Ranjan Mohapatra’s death case, sealed the hostel room of the Livestock Inspectors’ Training Centre (LITC) where Bidyabharati Panda, the wife of the deceased ACF, had allegedly thrown a bachelor party earlier this year.
A five-member team of Paralakhemundi Police sealed hostel room No.1 of the LITC where Bidyabharati had given the party in April, said sources adding that the hostel room has been sealed for examination.
Prior to sealing Bidyabharati’s hostel room, the investigating team also interrogated some staff of the institute including Director Hemant Kumar Pradhan about the bachelorette party.
The investigating officials decided to visit the Balangir-based LITC and included the bachelor party under the purview of their probe to get leads in the mysterious death of the ACF after his family members informed them about the incident.
