OJEE Online Counselling 2021 to begin from November 29, Check details

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) Online Counselling 2021 will begin from November 29, 2021 for all the qualified candidates of the State. A notification has been issued in this regard.

According to the issued notification, the admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)/Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (BDS) seats of different Government and Hi-Tech Medical (Private) Colleges of the State will be done for the session 2021-22 on the basis of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2021 merit list following rules and regulation of the State government.

The detailed schedule will be published on the official website of OJEE. All the qualified candidates are advised to keep in touch with websites www.ojee.nic.in or www.odishajee.com and also the official Android application of OJEE for latest information.

The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) began from September 6 across the State as per the schedule and following the COVID guideline. The OJEE-2021 was conducted between September 6 and September 18, 2021.

Over the 55, 500 candidates appeared the Entrance Examination this year. The OJEE was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for all the courses in CBT mode at 57 centers covering all the 30 districts of the State. Outside Odisha, exam centres have been arranged in Kolkata, Ranchi and Patna.

It is to be noted here that OJEE which was slated to be held earlier in July was postponed due to the COVID situation in the State.

The authorities OJEE added 12 new places to the places for the OJEE exam centres. The 12 new places include 9 inside the State and 3 outside the State. These exam centres were included reportedly for the convenience of the students appearing the entrance exam.
