Odisha’s Similipal National Park reopens for tourists
In a good news for tourists, Similipal National Park in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district will be reopening from today.
Karanjia: In a good news for tourists, Similipal National Park in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district will be reopening from today. This comes after the Similipal Forest Development Corporation had closed the sanctuary for an indefinite period over 5 point charter of demands.
A crucial meeting was held on Tuesday to discuss about the reopening of the sanctuary.
The meeting saw the participation of Jashipur MLA Ganesh Singh Khuntia, administrative officials, and over 3000 people from three villages.
In the meeting it was decided to reopen the Similipal National park from December 27.
