Bhubaneswar: The day temperature in Odisha will increase from March 14, 2022. The temperature is likely to be around 40 degrees Celcius.
Reportedly, the state is unlikely to experience a sea breeze between March 14 and March 16. It has been learnt that there will be strong hot winds from the northwest.
Notably, coastal Odisha along with the capital city Bhubaneswar will also record temperatures above 37 degrees Celsius.
The weather is likely to change from March 16 as a cyclonic circulation has been predicted to form over the Bay of Bengal. As a result, some parts of the state may experience spells of rain.
Earlier on Friday, seven cities of Odisha recorded temperatures above 37 degrees Celcius. The maximum temperature has been recorded in Boudh at 37.5 degrees Celsius.
