Bhubaneswar: A selfie taken by cops with a cheating case accused has gone viral on social media. Earlier Inspector-in-charge of Chandrabhaga Marine Police Station, Bulu Munda was suspended last month after his selfie taken with a murder accused went viral on social media.
As per reports, two policemen including a woman SI working with Airport police station in Bhubaneswar has taken a selfie with accused Papu Singh. Singh was arrested by the police for allegedly duping Rs 25 lakh in the area.
The accused Papu Singh was accused of misappropriation of company funds, forging documents, and duping people on the pretext of providing jobs.
Police sources said that the accused was working with a company which handled ground operations at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA).
Police said that the accused has been nabbed from Uttar Pradesh and is being brought to Odisha under transit remand.
