Odisha receives certificate of appreciation from Union Ministry for elimination of Malaria

Bhubaneswar: Another achievement for Odisha Government as the State has received certificate of appreciation from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

The State government has received certificate of appreciation for the sincere effort undertaken for the elimination of Malaria on the occasion of World Malaria Day, 2022.

According to reports, the State has been elevated on Malaria control activities from category III to category II. The decline in Malaria caseload in the State and the effort given by the State Government for progress towards ensuring Zero Malaria has been recognised and appreciated.
