Berhampur: A constable of the Odisha police reportedly attempted to commit suicide here on Monday. The constable has been identified as T Janardhan.
According to sources, T Janardhan tried to end his life due to some unknown reason. However, he was rescued by his family members with the help of some locals.
Soon, T Janardhan was admitted to the MKCG Medical College & Hospital for treatment. However, his health condition is said to be critical, added the sources.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Janadhan’s wife Jagyanseni had also died by committing suicide on August 28 (Saturday). She was also working as a constable in the State police department.
