Odisha Plus 2 examinations to be held offline, See details

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Plus 2 examinations will be held offline this year. The students who are dissatisfied with marks obtained through alternative assessment system, for the cancelled examination, can take the offline exams. The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha will make the announcement for the application procedure today.

Reportedly, a decision has been taken in this regard during the examination committee meeting of CHSE on Wednesday. As per the decision, the students who are dissatisfied with their awarded marks will be able to register and apply for the offline exams through their respective junior colleges or high schools.

The exams will be conducted for subjects only, added reports. The marks for other subjects will be assessed based on the scores that one will obtain in the offline exams.

CHSE further clarified that those, who will appear for the offline examination, their earlier marks which was obtained through alternative assessment will stand cancelled. The marks secured in the offline examination will be considered final.

It is noteworthy of that a total of 1,96, 959 students including 1,86,685 regular students passed in the Arts stream this year. Similarly, 89,951 students passed in Science stream and 23,292 students in Commerce stream.
