Bhubaneswar: The State Election Commission has received proposals to conduct polls in the 13 places again, informed SEC Secretary Rabindra Sahu.
Reportedly, violence surfaced at some booths during the second phase elections due to which re-polling has been proposed.
Besides the proposals for re-polling, Secretary to the SEC, Rabindra Sahu informed that reports have also been received regarding errors in ballot paper folding at three booths.
Earlier, the district collectors have sent a proposal to State Election Commission to conduct re-polling in the 25 booths in four districts due to violence on the first phase polls on February 16.
The re-poll proposals were conducted for 11 booths in Jajpur district, five booths each in Puri and Bhadrak districts and four booths in Dhenkanal district.
