Jharduguda Airport gets connected to Bhubaneswar & Raipur

Jharsuguda: Jharsuguda Airport, better known as Veer Surendra Sai Airport (VSSA) has gotten the much-needed air connectivity to Bhubaneswar and Raipur from Wednesday onwards. As reported earlier, Alliance Air will be connecting Jharsuguda to Bhubaneswar and Raipur.

A subsidiary of Air India, Air Alliance will operate flights under the Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN) scheme of the Central Government.

The flight from Jharsuguda to Bhubaneswar is going to be only 1 hour and 5 minutes long. Tickets are already available for passengers to book.

The first flight available for the day is an Air India domestic flight which departs from VSSA at 12 pm and lands at BPIA at 1:05 pm. Price for the flight tickets is also available. The ticket for the flight from VSSA to Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) costs Rs 2310 for today.

Alliance Air will also connect Jharsuguda to Raipur starting. There are two flights flying from VSSA to Raipur Swami Vivekananda Airport (SVA) today. While one of them is direct, all of the other have stop-overs.

Direct flights from Jharsuguda to Raipur will be 1 hour and 15 minutes long. The ticket for a direct flight from VSSA to SVA costs Rs 1418 for today.  One of the stop-over flights (at Ranchi) will take 27 hours and 15 minutes and it will cost Rs 7175.
