Odisha fights Covid: Fever Clinic reopens at Cuttack SCB Hospital

Cuttack: The Fever Clinic has reopened at SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack in view of the rising Covid cases across Odisha.

Reportedly, more than a hundred samples have been tested as of now. Currently, there are eight Out Patient Department (OPD) beds, 13 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds, 10 High Dependency Units (HDU) beds, and 40 beds in the ward.

However, no patients are being treated currently as in most of the cases home isolation is being recommended. The authorities have also decided to increase manpower at Cuttack SCB as per the need of the hour.

Notably, the Fever Clinic department of SCB closed after the rate of Covid infection decreased.

It is pertinent to mention that Odisha has been reporting above 400 Covid cases for three consecutive days.
