Cuttack: Dreaded gangster Suleiman Haider, popularly known as Haider, reportedly escaped from police custody on Saturday.
Cuttack Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Prateek Singh informed that the gangster escaped from police custody by intoxicating the security guards while he was undergoing treatment at SCB Medical College and Hospital.
All roads linking Cuttack City have been sealed to nab the gangster, added the DCP.
Haider was admitted at the hospital 12 days ago for treatment. He was arrested and jailed in Rashmi Ranjan Mohapatra murder case.
