According to reports, there are cases worth as much as Rs. 17 lakh worth insurance fraud. The Cyber police has arrested three people from outside the state in this connection.
The police have arrested three accused from Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. In addition to the arrest, Pre-active SIM cards, mobiles, passbooks and other incriminating materials have been seized from the accused persons.
A young man from Mancheswar area was a victim of the fraud. Police has seized 2 lakh 38 thousand from the accused.
The cyber police station had been operating and collecting evidence in this regard since 10 days.
