Balangir: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will dedicate a new government-run Medical College and Hospital in Balangir on Friday.
The new institution has been named Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital as homage to the legendary poet, who preached and propagated Mahima Dharma and professed the philosophy of Sunyabada (nothingness) in the state.
The Admissions for 100 MBBS seats in the medical colleges has begun from 2018-19 academic session.
