Odisha All Set To Vaccinate People Above 18 Years From May 1

Bhubaneswar: Amidst the rise in second wave of Covid-19 infections, the Odisha government is prepared to inoculate all the people above 18 years of age from May 1.

According to reports, more session sites and vaccination centres shall be set up all over the state. The Covid vaccines will be provided in all government and private hospitals. People can register themselves through the Co-Win app or on the spot for the vaccination.

As many as one lakh doses of Covishield vaccine is scheduled to reach Odisha today at 1 pm.

However, there will be no vaccination during the weekend shutdown in all the urban areas, informed Director of Health and Family Welfare Bijay Panigrahi.

    Odisha govt. is all set to vaccinate 18 and above (That’s funny). Naveen govt. is not able to give 1st dose to 45+ age group due to scarcity in doses. For 60+ age group 2nd dose vaccination has not even started while they are nearing to 8th week. What a joke.
