Angul: A passenger bus overturned near Banarpal road here on Friday. Over twenty passengers were injured in the accident, five of whom are in a critical state.
As per reports, the bus named ‘Dilkhush’ was going from Jharsuguda to Bhubaneswar. However, near Banarpal overbridge it lost control and hit a roadside tree and subsequently slid off the road.

As the bus overturned it left over twenty passengers injured. Five of them are grievously injured. All of them admitted to Angul District Hospital and other nearby hospitals.
Local police and fire services officials immediately rushed to the site of the accident. A rescue operation is underway. More details awaited.
