Bhubaneswar: The famous Sun temple of Konark might undergo a beautification drive as the 5T Secretary of Odisha visited the heritage site at around 5am today.
Following the beautification of 2 major temples of Odisha, Jagannath Temple in Puri and Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar, the Konark Temple might be next in line.
Reports say, VK Pandian the 5T Secretary, Krishan Kumar the Works Secretary and Balwant Singh the Puri District Collector visited Konark Temple.
If sources are to be believed, there might soon be a beautification drive of the Konark temple.
The bureaucrats also looked into various other issues which would help tourists to have a hassle free visit to the Temple and its periphery.
They also visited the Chandrabhaga Beach and discussed about its betterment.
