Odisha’s noted cardiologist Dr Jadunath Prasad Das passed away today while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.
Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s noted cardiologist Dr Jadunath Prasad Das passed away today while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. He was 90.
According to reports, Das, who was born on August 5, 1933 in Khurda, was admitted at the hospital following age-related issues.
He joined the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack as a professor in 1962 after completing his PG and became the first cardiologist of the government hospital. Later, he set up a Cardiology Research Centre to treat the patients.
During his leisure period, he was involving himself in social activities.
