No ‘Radhapada Darshan’ in Sakhigopal this year on Anla Navami

Puri: Like last year, this year also devotees will not be allowed to witness Radhapada Darshan in Sakhigopal temple on Anla Navami on November 12. On this occasion section 144 will be imposed around Sakhigopal temple.

This step has been taken keeping in mind the ongoing Covid pandemic and the huge crowd that is expected to gather in the temple on ‘Amla Navami’.

As per reports, Anla Navami will be observed this year on November 12. This is the occasion when Goddess Radharani is attired with Odiani besha while Lord Krishna wears the Natabara Besha. On this day the Radhapada darshan events held at this temple where huge number of devotees witness the divine event.

However, this year devotees will not be allowed to witness the famous Radhapada darshan. Section 144 will be imposed on Novemeber 12 and on November 15 due to Ekadashi. Only the servitors and their family members will be allowed for darshan.

It is believed that all wishes of one shall get fulfilled if one has a glimpse of the feet of Radha ‘Radha Pada Darshan’ on the auspicious occasion of ‘Amla Navami’.

Lakhs of devotees flock to the temple every year on this day also get a darshan of Natwar besha of Lord Krishna too.
