Bhubaneswar: The city-based Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) has made it to the list of top 100 higher educational institutions of the country.
According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings for higher educational institutions was released by President Ramnath Kovind at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi this afternoon, KIIT has got the 50th position in the overall category.
Besides, it has got the second rank in the Best Innovation category.
Tree other institutions of the state also found place in the top100 institutions in the overall category. The ranking has placed National Institute of Technology, Rourkela at 38th position while Bhubaneswar-based Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University secured the 41st spot. Among others, Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar, got 46th rank.
