Next 15-30 days will be more challenging: Odisha CM on Coronavirus outbreak

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday said that the next 15-30 days will be more challenging to handle the situation arising due to the Covid-19 crisis in the State.

While chairing a review meeting today, Patnaik said that the coming 15 days to a month will be more challenging as flights and train services have resumed operations.

Patnaik, however, said that we can successfully contain the spread of pandemic with strict social distancing, wearing masks and repeated hand washing.

“Testing has to be smart to take care of our frontline workers and vulnerable people and the humane work done by police in ensuring zero walking inside Odisha is praise worthy. Good job done,” he said.

Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy, Secretaries of Home and Health & Family Welfare departments took part in the riew meeting.
