Khordha: Four unidentified miscreants today allegedly looted cash worth Rs 1 lakh from the employee of a private finance company near Srirampur under Bolagarh police limits in Khordha district.
The victim alleged that the miscreants also assaulted him with sharp-edged weapons. “I was on my way to Bhubaneswar when they intercepted me and attacked me with sharp-edged weapons. They also threatened me on gunpoint and decamped with the cash bag,” alleged the victim.
The victim has sustained injuries on his both hands. The victim later lodged a formal complaint with the police following which the police have started an investigation.
Earlier on May 12, four unidentified miscreants had looted cash worth Rs 94000 after hurling a bomb at the vehicle of a private finance company on Gediapalli-Gobindpur Road under Begunia police limits in Khordha district.
