Cuttack: A police constable sustained injuries as miscreants hurled bombs at police team at Dalabhanga village in Athagarh block of Cuttack district of Odisha today.
According to reports, there was a minor scuffle between farmers and electricity workers during the laying of electricity wires for a cement factory in Dalabhaga. Taking advantage of the scuffle, some miscreants hurled bombs at the police team and fled the spot. A police constable sustained injuries in the bombing accident.
Meanwhile, two platoons of police force are deployed on the spot to maintain law and order. Choudwar SDPO along with two IICs are present at the crime scene and are investigating the matter.
