Jagatsinghpur: The body of a minor boy has been found today at Sankarpur village under Biridi police limits of Jagatsinghpur district. The deceased has been identified as Soumya. He two-year-old boy of Kanhaiyalal Bhoi of Mangalpur village under Sadar police limits of the district.
Reportedly, the minor boy went missing from his maternal uncle’s house two days ago with his mother Swarnalata Bhoi.
While he was playing near the house on the afternoon of November 8, he had gone missing, added reports.
A complaint in this regard had been lodged at Biridi Police Station.
The Biridi police and fire brigade had launched a search operation based on the missing complaint. They also conducted the search operation the area by checking the CCTV footage but was unable to trace Soumya. However, his body was found in a drain near the house this morning.
