Phulbani: Unleashing Red fear in Kandhamal district again, Maoist posters resurfaced at different places in Baliguda area this morning issuing death warrant to at least two police officials.
The posters released in the name of Kalahandi-Kandhamal-Boudh-Nayagarh (KKBN) division of the banned CPI (Maoist) group were first spotted by some locals at Sudra Road under Baliguda police limits, who immediately reported to police. Subsequently, more posters were found in nearby areas.
By mentioning the names of Phiringia and Gochhapadar police stations IICs, the Red rebels dubbed them as anti-people threatened for execution in the ‘Praja Court’.
Police have seized the posters after reaching the spot and launched a combing operation in the area to nab the holed up Maoists.
